Brief project description: The primary goal of the project is to build a tradition and the environment of peer review of academic and administrative domains in the participant countries’ universities and beyond. This goal will be achieved by establishing a multinational peer review board, deploying peer- review missions to participating universities, series of trainings, seminars and conferences, establishing an international peer review journal of medical (health) education, setting an international think tank on peer review and other actions.
Expected results:
- Increased awareness on peer review among partner institutions.
- A Multinational Peer Review Board (MPRB) established.
- 24 initial and follow-up peer review missions accomplished.
- Capacity of hundreds of faculty members increased in peer review.
- A journal “Peer Review in Medical/Health Education for Eastern Europe and Central Asia (PRIMED-EECA)” established.
- A “Peer Review Association in Medical/Health Education for Eastern Europe and Central Asia (PRAMED-EECA)” established
- Project achievements disseminated.
